Free school meals for children living in SNAP recipient households

If you are now receiving SNAP benefits, your children are automatically eligible for free school meals. Talk to your child’s school for next steps on how to enroll.

If you were previously denied this benefit because of your income but are now receiving SNAP, you should re-apply. Talk to your child’s school to be sure you have completed all of the necessary forms.
